A diagnostic procedure known as fine needle aspiration cytology, or a FNAC, is used to determine if a growth or lump on the body is malignant. This test is administered using a needle, as suggested by the name. Scraped tissue is delivered to a lab for examination after a tiny sample is taken for testing. The FNAC test is used to identify the kind of superficial lumps, including those on the breast and neck that are palpable (can be felt with the touch) and impalpable (can't be felt easily with the touch). When an aberrant mass is felt or found via other diagnostic and regular medical procedures, it is explicitly advised. In contrast to its predecessors, the FNAC test is non-invasive and has no negative side effects like discomfort or scarring.
